First Year Recap & Summer

I CAN'T BELIEVE I SURVIVED MY FIRST YEAR OF TEACHING

Well, I can, but you know what I mean. I could go on and on about everything I learned, but I'm not because I'm more focused on my summer and second year of teaching. Over the course of the year, I made 'friends' and gained support from upper level admin. in my district allowing me to participate in some special opportunities.
what opportunities you ask?

I was given the opportunity to write the math curriculum for second grade and host a summer PD for math learning stations. I am SO blessed to have been chosen after only a year of teaching under my belt! All of my hard work and dedication during my first year really helped my teacher-self, well hard work, dedication, and of course TPT. I mean, who else would I run to when it came to find a last minute station/activity. *no one obviously*

I also was able to attend the CAMT conference held in San Antonio last month. I was amazed by the simple, yet engaging activities given by Kim Sutton, Jane Felling, and more! I also spent pretty much half of my paycheck purchasing all the goodies from the exhibits, but we won't get into that; at least not yet.

*I've updated my look and will be updating my resources. As I update, these resources will be on sale. Stay tuned!*
